Pontoons

Our mid-river deepwater pontoons are suitable for yachts up to 42ft with a draft up to 7ft. The pontoons are accessed by dinghy at most states of the tide. Dinghies can be kept free of charge at the end of the jetty.

Swinging Moorings

For those owners who prefer a more traditional swinging mooring we have a number of deepwater moorings to suit vessels up to 36ft.

For those who prefer a mooring away from the main, we have a number of deepwater swinging moorings downstream which offer fine, uninterrupted views of the harbour and are a little closer to the open sea. An outboard is recommended for access to the downstream moorings.

Tidal Moorings

We have a number of tidal swinging moorings which are ideal for lifting/drop keel yachts and bilge keel vessels. Access to the moorings varies but the majority are accessible approximately 5 hours before, to 3 hours after highwater. Multihull moorings have a slightly smaller tidal window depending on the prevailing weather and tidal conditions.

Choice of contract

We can provide moorings on an annual, seasonal or as part of an annual mooring & storage package - click here for more details.

Visitors are always welcome and we can usually accommodate vessels overnight during the season. You may like to come ashore, stretch your legs and explore the shoreline, freshen-up and round off the day with a barbecue in our foreshore picnic area.

Larger Vessels and Liveaboards

We also have a limited number of tidal walk ashore berths alongside the jetty and the main dinghy pontoon which are suitable for larger vessels when they are available. These berths have access to water and electric and may suit a more permanent berthing arrangement.
